My fees reflect advanced training, clinical experience, ongoing consultation and continuing education, preparation and documentation outside of sessions, and the time and care devoted to supporting each client throughout the therapeutic process.
In addition to our time together in session, therapy involves clinical assessment, treatment planning, note writing, care coordination when appropriate, and ongoing professional development to ensure high-quality care.
I strive to balance providing thoughtful, specialized support while maintaining a sustainable practice that allows me to continue serving clients well.
Rate Adjustments
Fees are reviewed periodically and are adjusted on an annual basis over time to reflect changes in training, experience, operating costs, and the sustainability of the practice.
Existing clients will be provided with at least 60 days' notice of any fee increase. Annual fee adjustments, implemented, are typically 15%.
Insurance
I am an out-of-network provider and do not bill insurance directly.
Working outside of insurance allows our work to be guided by your needs rather than insurance requirements, diagnoses, or session limitations.
Superbills are available upon request for possible out-of-network reimbursement.
A limited number of reduced-fee appointments may be available based on financial need and current availability.
Medicaid
At this time, I am unable to work with clients who are enrolled in Colorado Medicaid.
Due to Medicaid regulations, individuals with active Medicaid coverage will be referred to a provider or organization that accepts Medicaid.
Appointments
Sessions are offered virtually through a secure, HIPAA-compliant video platform. Information regarding services, policies, informed consent, and practice procedures will be provided electronically prior to your first appointment. New clients will receive intake paperwork, consent forms, and practice documents through a secure online portal. Please complete all forms before your first session to ensure we can make the most of our time together.
Cancellation Policy
Your appointment time is reserved specifically for you.
If you need to cancel or reschedule, please provide at least 48 hours' notice.
Appointments canceled with less than 48 hours' notice will incur a $75 late cancellation fee.
Appointments canceled on the day of the scheduled session, as well as missed appointments (no-shows), will be charged the full session fee.
Good Faith Estimate
Under the No Surprises Act, clients who are uninsured or choosing not to use insurance have the right to receive a Good Faith Estimate outlining the expected cost of services.
You may request a Good Faith Estimate before scheduling services or at any time during treatment.
If you receive a bill that is $400 higher than your Good Faith Estimate, you may have the right to dispute the charge.
